3AO exists to glorify God through music by developing each musician’s God-given ability and using that gift to bless others. We provide a welcoming environment where students and adults grow in musicianship, character, and service through orchestral training and performance.
WHERE DOES 3AO PERFORM?
The Three Angels Orchestra will perform for churches, schools, eldercare facilities, and other special programs planned towards the end of each semester.
DO I OR MY CHILD NEED TO AUDITION?
No Audition is required for our youth ensemble (Grades 4-8).
However, prospective members must be proficient at playing the G-Major scale and also understand times values up to sixteenths (1/16). At least one year of experience is required.
Audition is required for our advanced ensemble (High School & Adult).
The Chamber Orchestra serves high school students and adults, as well as younger students who feel ready for a more advanced experience.
A brief placement check will be used be used for:
- High school–aged students
- Younger students requesting placement in the Chamber Orchestra
For adult musicians, the placement check may be waived when there is strong motivation to learn and for those returning to their instrument after time away.
Final placement decisions are made by the director, with the goal of supporting each musician and each ensemble.
DO I NEED TO PAY A FEE TO JOIN?
At this time, 3AO does not require any fees to become a member. All expenses are currently paid by free-will donation and fundraising opportunities.
HOW OFTEN DOES 3AO REHEARSE?
The Three Angels Orchestra rehearses 2-3 times per month, from August to May.

3AO performs a wide range of repertoire, including sacred works, classical selections, and other orchestral literature appropriate for worship services and community settings.
WHAT IS UNIQUE ABOUT 3AO?
Unlike most orchestras, the Three Angels Orchestra is a Christian and youth-founded ministry. Young people and adults are given the opportunity to participate in the guidance and direction of the orchestra whose primary goal is to glorify God and to share His love and kindness with the community.
HOW CAN I SUPPORT 3AO?
The Three Angels Orchestra welcomes support from all members of the local community it serves. If you are interested in volunteering or contributing, or would like to find out more about doing so, please Contact us.
CAN 3AO PLAY AT MY CHURCH OR ORGANIZATION?
The Three Angels Orchestra sometimes receives multiple requests to play for organizations. If 3AO is already booked for the current semester, organizations will be placed on a Performance Waiting List and contacted when openings appear. Our more advanced students are also available to perform for school formals, weddings, and memorials, etc. Thank you for your interest!
